The best carrot apple orange juice
Every once and awhile, a special fresh pressed juice comes along and you instantly become obsessed.
For me, that is this carrot apple & orange juice with fresh ginger.
I have a simple juicer that I make small-batches juices with at home occasionally, and I love experimenting with new combinations of produce to make the yummiest juices!
And I knew the first time I made this one that it would become a regular part of our homemade juice rotation.
It’s just got all the good stuff going on – perfectly sweet/tart, bursting with juicy flavor, and has a lovely little zip from the fresh ginger! Truly such a fantastic way to start the day.
It is a real must-make recipe for all my DIY juice lovers out there!

How to make this fresh juice
Once you’ve got your juicer ready, all you need to do is wash and cut the produce into pieces that are small enough to pass through the juicer chute.
My favorite way to do this is to soak it in a large bowl or basin of a salad spinner with a little non-toxic cleaning concentrate from Branch Basics.
Once you’ve cleaned the produce, simply pass the ingredients through your juicer, stir together to combine, and enjoy!

Fresh Carrot Apple & Orange Juice with Ginger
- Total Time: 25 minutes
- Yield: 2 servings 1x
- Diet: Dairy-Free, Vegan
Description
This carrot apple orange juice with ginger is a delightfully wholesome homemade juice combo that is super refreshing and just perfectly-sweet! Made with the irresistible combination of real ingredients like apples, carrots, oranges, and ginger. It has no added sugar, and is packed with fresh & yummy produce!
Ingredients
- 2 large carrots, peeled and cut into pieces small enough to pass through your juicer
- 2 large apples, cut into small pieces
- 2 large oranges, peel cut away and cut into small pieces
- 1 inch piece of ginger, peeled and thinly sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Grab your juicer.
- Cut carrots, apples and ginger into pieces small enough to pass through your juicers chute.
- Wash everything well. My favorite way to wash produce is with a little bit of the non-toxic cleaning concentrate from Branch Basics and plenty of water in a bowl or the mesh basin of a salad spinner.
- Prep the oranges. You’ll want to remove the skin and most of the white pith of the orange to avoid any bitter notes that the pith might impart on the juice. To do that, cut each end off the orange, and lay it on one end. Then cut away the rest of the peel and pith with a sharp paring knife until the flesh is revealed – as pictured above in the blog post. Once the peel is cut away, cut the orange into pieces small enough to fit through the chute of your juicer.
- Time to juice! Pass all ingredients through your juicer. Stir to combine and drink right away, or seal in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
This juice will keep for up to 3 days in a tightly sealed container. A mason jar is my favorite way to store juice until we’re ready to drink it!
Freezing juice is a great option if you know that you won’t be able to finish it in a few days. Just thaw out in the refrigerator when you’re ready to enjoy it and drink within 12-24 hours.

Ahh I LOVE to hear that! So glad you enjoyed this juice recipe so much. I just adore having fresh pressed juice on hand in the refrigerator this time of year to stay cool! Thanks for your thoughtful comment and review! – Nyssa
Heather says
can I use a blender for this recipe like I can the green juice?

Hi Heather! I haven’t tested this recipe in a blender, but I imagine it would work. I would suggest starting with 2-3 cups of water and adding more only if it seems too thick to blend easily. I’ll have to test it out in the future but in the meantime I’d love to know if you give it a try! – Nyssa
