Description

This avocado herb green sauce is the best all purpose green sauce! Perfect for everything from tacos to salads. It has a creamy texture, is full of bright green flavor, and ready in only 5 minutes. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, Whole30, and paleo. 


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small avocado, diced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 1/2 cup parsley
  • 1 small jalapeño pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Juice of one lime
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water, plus more as needed to thin

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to the bowl of a food processor or blender container and process until smooth, stopping as needed to scrape down the sides. Add more water to thin if desired, and season to taste with salt.
  2. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready to use!
