Ingredients
For the guacamole
-
2 large ripe avocados, or 4 small ripe avocados
-
juice from 1 lime – about 1 tablespoons worth, or to taste
-
1/2 a jalapeno pepper, finely chopped (optional)
-
1/4 cup red onion, diced small
-
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
-
3/4 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
-
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
-
1 peach, diced
For the peach salsa
-
1 peach, diced
-
1/2 jalapeno, finely chopped (optional)
-
1/4 cup red onion, diced small
-
2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
-
juice of half a lime – about 1 1/2 teaspoons worth
-
big pinch of sea salt
Instructions
-
Place avocados in a large bowl along with all other guacamole ingredients EXCEPT the diced peaches. Mash everything together either with the back of a large fork or a pastry cutter (my favorite guacamole making tool!) until well combined. Taste and add a little more salt or lime juice if desired.
-
When guacamole is properly seasoned, stir in the diced peaches. If you’re making the peach salsa, move the guacamole to the refrigerator to chill slightly while you prep the salsa, otherwise serve right away or stash in the refrigerator until ready to serve, using one of my tips in the notes section to keep the avocado from turning brown!
-
To make peach salsa: In a medium sized bowl add the diced peach, chopped jalapeño, diced red onion, chopped cilantro, juice of half a lime, and a big pinch of sea salt. Stir together until well combined. Taste and add a little more lime juice or salt if desired and serve over top guacamole or store in the refrigerator for up to several hours until ready to serve!

Notes
If you’re short on time, ingredients, or patience (lol), you can totally make this peach guacamole without the peach salsa. You’ll still get tons of yummy peachy flavor from the diced peaches that are stirred into the guac!
Nectarines or mango can be substituted for the peaches.
To keep the guacamole from turning brown, “seal” the guacamole with a layer of plastic wrap. Making sure to chase out as many air bubbles as you can to prevent little brown spots from forming!
Alternatively, you can cover the guacamole with a thin layer of water and a lid. Before servin just pour the water off and stir it together again!
