Dairy Free Butternut Squash Pasta Recipe

Made without heavy cream, swapping in ultra creamy cashew cream in it’s place. It is made using just one skillet, and a total crowd pleaser.

– Bacon – Onion – Garlic – Butternut squash

INGREDIENTS:

Cook bacon

In a large skillet, cook bacon until desired crispness is reached.

Remove from the skillet and set aside on a paper towel lined plate.

Caramelize aromatics and squash

Remove all but 2 tablespoons of bacon grease from the skillet. Add diced onion, garlic, and butternut squash and sauté until squash and onions are starting to caramelize.

Sauté spices

Add dried spices, nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper and continue to sauté for another 1-2 minutes, until spices are aromatic.
